An auxiallary correcting lens reduces various aberrations, flattens the field, and allows the tube length to be shortened. The large diameter and catadioptric design also produce bright and wide views. A fully loaded telescope the telescope comes on a German equatorial mount, along with counter-weight, latitude scale, setting circles, and slow motion controls all standard with a 58″ aluminum tripod (fully extended). It also includes 6.5, 10, and 25 mm Plössl eyepieces, a 6 x 30 mm finder scope, sun and moon filters, and tripod with accessory tray. Aperature: 114 mm (4 1/2″). Focal length: 1000 mm.
